If you already know you want a woodland wedding it would be a good idea to think about your choice of venue, pick a venue which lends itself to your woodland wedding ideas. A rustic venue such as teepee, barn, farm or even outdoor setting would be perfect for a woodland wedding.
Woodland Table Decorations
Keeping to natural containers for your flowers and centrepiece will work well for woodland weddings. Natural wood / bark containers or rustic galvanised buckets are a great idea, hunt for old slate roof tiles as these look fab under your centrepieces or if you find enough they could be used as place mats for your guests.
Hanging Woodland Decorations
It is likely your venue will have beams or poles ideal for hanging decorations. Think about hanging wicker hearts, or other rustic decorations.
Woodland Place Settings
Keep the place settings simple, maybe a luggage tags with the guests name stamped on to it and a stem of foliage attached. Wrap the napkin in hessian for an extra rustic touch.
Extra Woodland Decoration Ideas
Hessian is perfect at woodland weddings, use hessian table runners along your guest tables. Hessian can also make great chair backs, get crafty and add hessian around jams jars and fill them with flowers or candles.
